CCB programs gave away over 600 kid bikes and 200 adult voucher bikes in 2020. This was made possible through the support of volunteers, revenue generated by the sale of refurbished bikes, and individual donations. We now have an Annual Fund (monthly giving program), to ensure that our programs can continue in a reliable, consistent, and safe manner, and to support program growth to reach new community members.

With lower administrative expenses, our fundraising dollars can better support our mission. Being able to rely on a steady stream of monthly support helps us plan our programming, with ongoing funds to support increased access to bikes, educational programming, and reliable transportation.
A gift of $10 per month will support the refurbishment of 2 kids' bikes or 1 adult bike.
A gift of $20 per month will support the refurbishment of 4 kids' bikes or 2 adult bikes.
A gift of $50 per month will support the refurbishment of 10 kids' bikes or 5 adult bikes.
A gift of $100 per month will support the refurbishment of 20 kids’ bikes or 10 adult bikes.
Annual Fund Member Benefits: All of CCB’s Annual Fund members receive a Community Bikes t-shirt and the option to be recognized on the CCB Website and Annual Report. Most importantly, all Annual Fund members show their continued support of CCB and our mission to promote environmentally-sound transportation, recycle bicycles, and make cycling accessible in Charlottesville, VA.

How Does it Work? CCB will automatically deduct your contribution from your credit card or checking account.
Do I need to renew my membership every year? No. We automatically renew your membership and continue your monthly donation without interruption. You can contact us when your card is about to expire, so we can keep your payments continuing uninterrupted – just call 434-260-0893 or email us at info@cbikes.org.
Can I donate anonymously? Yes! You can choose to remain anonymous on the giving form.
Can I make extra donations? Yes! CCB welcomes as much support as you can contribute, and we greatly value any contribution you make.
What if I need to change the amount I’m donating? You are welcome to increase, decrease or stop your monthly donations at any time. Call us at 434-260-0893 or email us at info@cbikes.org to change your plan.
What if I need to suspend or cancel payments for a little while? No problem. Email or call us and let us know what you would like to do.
Is my credit card or checking account information secure? Your information is completely safe and secure with CCB. It is processed by the Click&Pledge, and you can review their privacy and security statement here.
